​Attendance to place of removal up to 20 miles or less from your Branch within 2 hour window (after receiving first call information) complete a visual risk assessment and effect removal accordingly   

  

• The provision of two professionally trained  

        and uniformed members of our staff   

• The use of our Private Ambulance including running costs (Estate Car Only)*  

• Use of Removal sheet – supplied by us   

• Use of PPE (supplied by us) for uniformed staff   

• Use of our Ferno Stretchers (non-bariatric)   

• Deceased returned to Your Funeral Directors Premises 

• Deceased, Jewellery, Clothing and Personal Effects Logged in your Mortuary register   

• Applying Moisturising cream   

• Notify you of Jewellery and Personal Effects  

• Advise you of the Size of the Deceased  

• Provision of two professionally trained members of staff to check listed Clothing*, Jewellery and other Personal Effects   (i.e coffin keepsakes)  

• Complete Facial and First Offices on Deceased using our own Kit, Suture, Medical Equipment eye caps and Makeup 

• Dress the deceased after receiving instructions (please give us any special instructions as you receive them by email)  

• Encoffing deceased at your premises ** 

• Preparing the deceased for Viewing (if applicable) advising you of any issues that may need to be considered for families Viewing

*Please ensure that clothing is clearly labelled, easily accessible with together with the clothing receipt (if it’s in your procedures to write one)

** please ensure that the coffin for the deceased has been prepared and allocated, an additional charge of £10 will be payable if we are required to prepare coffin (E&OE)
