Terms and Conditions

Our Promise ...

 

We are industry professionals with over 16 years of experience each, qualified by the National Association of Funeral Directors and Licensed by the British Institute of Funeral Directors. We have been professionally trained in our way of working and always uphold the dignity and respect of the deceased as it's a top priority.

We recognise that each funeral director have their own or their preferred way of working, and we are not judge, jury, or executioner. We uphold the privacy of the funeral director’s business, ensuring that no information regarding their operations, work, or products is shared with either the public or other industry professionals. We will not discuss your business unless something is deemed harmful, dangerous, or poses a risk to the integrity of the deceased in care.

1. Collection of the Deceased

 

1.1. Upon receiving instructions, we will collect the deceased from the designated resting location, ID them and using our equipment & vehicle, transport them to the funeral home of the instructing funeral director. 1.2. Access to the premises must be arranged in advance. Keys must either be made available or stored in a secure location to which we have access. Any delays caused by a lack of access may result in additional charges.

2. Identification and Preparation

 

2.1. The deceased must be easily identifiable upon our arrival. A clear identification method must be in place to prevent any errors or delays. 2.2. Clothing for the deceased must be accessible and must accurately match the details provided on the personal effects sheet. 2.3. The coffin for the deceased should be allocated and prepared in advance. If we are required to prepare the coffin, an additional charge of £10 per coffin will be applied.

 

3. Data Protection

 

3.1. We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. 3.2. Personal information will only be used for the purpose of fulfilling our services and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or necessary for the completion of our duties.

 

4. Complaints Procedure

 

4.1. If you wish to make a complaint regarding our service, please submit it in writing to our office within 7 days of the service being provided. 4.2. We will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 3 working days and aim to provide a full response within 14 working days. 4.3. If a resolution cannot be reached, the complaint may be escalated to an independent body for review.

 

5. Payment of Account

 

5.1. Payment terms are strictly payment on receipt of invoice. 5.2. Late payments may incur additional charges, including interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. 5.3. Failure to settle the account may result in legal action to recover outstanding balances.

6. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

 

6.1. By accepting to work with us you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined above. 6.2. You acknowledge your responsibility to comply with these terms and accept any applicable charges as stated.
